Description Matthias Clasen 2012-01-11 18:50:33 UTC
Filed here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com//show_bug.cgi?id=772498

"man zenity" says, "Comprehensive documentation is available in the GNOME Help
Browser, under GNOME/Utilities." I sought such documentation, but did not find
it. In particular, I found "Help" under "Activities", but I do not think that
is it. Searching it for zenity produces a message, 'No matching help pages
found in “Desktop Help”.'

The documentation was updated to mallard pages recently, I'll check what's happening and fix it.

Taking a deeply look, this doesn't seems to be an issue with zenity. It seems to be with the yelp search. Under the "Activities" where you found the "Help", if you try search for any other program, you will found nothing (I try gedit per example). In fact, to find something you need to click in Yelp menu go -> all documents, then scroll down and click on zenity. In this case, I test and even the search didn't work.

Checking the bugzilla in red hat, the man page is fully complete, with all the options from zenity. Perhaps, what's we can do is change the text in the man page to: "For more examples about how to use zenity, check the GNOME Help Browser", and remove the "under GNOME/Utilities."

What do you think?

So, can I close this?
Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2013-02-15 11:15:36 UTC
removing the direct reference to "GNOME/Utilities" sounds good to me
Comment 5 Arx Cruz 2013-11-23 23:03:08 UTC
Fixed.
