For a DVD image I got, the DVD title ends up containing non-printable characters. resindvd should remove those so they don't appear in Totem's playlist, or as window title.

Do you have an example of such a name (preferably the binary representation of it) ?
It could be a ASCII/UTF-8 mismatch or something along those lines.
