xsession-log

Hi, I did a quite minimal install, with this packets.

1.- Installed ubuntu minimal command line
2.- Installed gnome-shell gnome-core gdm lightdm

So vino gets installed in theory, with all dependencies satisfied. But, it crashes. Trying to run it from the shell gives a lot of errors. I am going to attach the .xsession-errors.

The issue is that vino doesn't work in a x64 ubuntu minimal install with those gnome basical packets.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Without a gdb stacktrace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace (and install debug packages for vino and for libglib2 first)? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Also, which exact vino version is this about?
Comment 2 Javier Domingo 2012-01-06 16:12:13 UTC
Hi, I am using the one in the main ubuntu archives, 3.2.0, and have started to install libs to compile from scratch.

I have done the backtrace using https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace, if you need more, just tell me. It seems its crashing due to upnp, will try by disabling it.

Thanks. As said, installing debug information for glib2 is highly welcome.
