Description timothyhobbs 2011-12-30 15:44:47 UTC
Evolution must be restarted for new smtp settings to take affect.

Try for example, creating an email account with the wrong user name for smtp authentification. An error message will appear saying the authentification failed. Now set the username to the correct value in the account settings dialog. Try sending mail again. This will fail, and the dialog will show the old user name. Restarting evolution sets the in memory username feild to the correct value. This bug applies to all values in the mail sending section of the account settings dialog.
