Description kim.g.sandstom 2001-12-11 08:45:11 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: normal
Version: 1.0
Synopsis: javascrip link crashes galeon
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: Mozilla interaction

Description:
On http://europe.cnn.com (and a lot of other sites) there was a
javascript link
javascript:med_vod('/video/us/2001/12/10/jm.pentagon.day65.affl.med.exclude.html')

If i klick this link "nomally" with the left mouse button everything
works ok. The
javascript opens a new window and displays its stuff in it.

If i click the link with the middle button (as i often do to open a new
tab) galeon
hangs for a while then exits. When i later restart there is a message
that galeon
had crashed.

This crash fenominon seems to be the same with a lot of javasript links
on the net.
Naturally, im not supposed to click them using the middle mouse button,
but also
galeon should not crash.
