Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: galeon Severity: critical Version: 1.0.1 Synopsis: Downloaded Galeon 1.0.1 but it crashes. Bugzilla-Product: galeon Bugzilla-Component: Mozilla interaction Description: I am runing RH 7.2. I upgraded the mozilla to the latest 0.9.6+. I had Galeon 0.12.7 that stoped working after upgrading Mozilla. So I downloaded Galeon 1.0.1. (1.0.1-i386-1.tgz) and untar it on the directory I have been downloading all previous version of galeon. This created directories usr, opt, install, etc. I looked ant the only file under install. It does not seems to apply to my installation. So I went to opt/gnome/bin and run galeon. It bombed. So I defined the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME environemnt var to to point to where the mozilla is installed. Runing galeon agains but it bombed again. This is the error reported : [drunix@hplinux bin]$ ./galeon Message: Successfully registered `OAFIID:GNOME_Galeon_Automation' /usr1/drunix/browsers/galeon/opt/gnome/bin/21697: No such file or directory. And gave me the error box from where I selected to report the error. Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...
