If you have a MUC window with contact list enabled. Whenever the line you're typing in gets bigger than the input area, instead of having a line-wrap the box gets wider, thus the whole window gets wider.

this is probably already reported because:
 - this is very annoying
 - this has been like that for a long time

but i couldn't find the appropriate bug ticket.
