Description Timofei Shatrov 2011-12-18 17:22:10 UTC
I have a Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet, and the new text tool interface behaves strangely when I use it. I'm talking about that pop-up thing that allows to select font, size, color etc. When the pointer moves towards it, it disappears! Which makes it hard to do anything with text. It behaves pretty weird in general, even the old style text editor doesn't work well with tablet pointer, with the window randomly disappearing. But, when I'm using mouse (Core pointer) everything works ok.

Which exact operating system is this about, and which drivers?
Comment 2 Timofei Shatrov 2011-12-18 21:02:47 UTC
Sorry, Windows XP SP3 and the latest official Wacom drivers.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2011-12-18 21:45:16 UTC
What does "latest" exactly mean when I take a look at this later? :)
Comment 4 Timofei Shatrov 2011-12-18 22:12:56 UTC
Driver 5.25-5a RC for Windows 7, Vista, and XP

Though I only updated to it today, after filing this bug. With old drivers I had the same behavior. So I doubt it matters much.

The overlay widgets (offscreen windows) don't work with the tablet,
it's currently unclear how to fix this.
