Description Michael Meeks 2011-12-14 11:15:45 UTC
I try to drag a (local) calendar item to the adjacent day in evolution, and/or edit the appointment to manually change it:

The open event & change the date gives:

"No such interface `org.gnome.evolution.dataserver.Calendar' on object at path /org/gnome/evolution/dataserver/Calendar/7479/8"

On the console I get:

[snip]
calendar-gui-Message: e-calendar-view.c:1708: Could not update the object! No such interface `org.gnome.evolution.dataserver.Calendar' on object at path /org/gnome/evolution/dataserver/Calendar/7479/8

[/snip]

And the event doesn't move needless to say. Oddly I get all the event details (as I would expect) in the editor etc.

Sigh - it gets worse than this: I can't add any event (it seems), and I get:

"No backend factory for 'file' of 'VEVENT'"

errors after trying that (again for local calendars).

upgrading to the openSUSE GNOME:/Evolution:/snapshot-3.2 packages this suddenly worked for me :-) good.
