Description Christy 2011-12-13 21:31:09 UTC
Currently, there is no link straight to the gnome downloads page from the home page of http://gnome.org. Allan suggested that it should be more discoverable. I agree, as I just used the site to download gnome 3 myself.
Comment 1 Christy 2011-12-13 21:40:47 UTC
Added another button to the banner on the front page, which says "Get Gnome 3", and links straight to the download page.
This patch attached, but open to other suggestions :)

Seems like a good approach to me. Would it be possible to have more padding between those buttons?

Going to add more padding around the buttons by modifying style.css, adding a 20px margin to the ".action_button"

Button Get GNOME 3 added on front page

A "Get GNOME 3" button was added to the frontpage which links directly
to download page. This makes it easier to get to the GNOME download page
from the home page.
