The README file mentions gnome-volume-control which has been moved into gnome-control-center [1]. The README should be updated accordingly

gnome-media has been obsolete since the release of GNOME 3, nearly 4 years ago and it has seen no releases since then, so closing this (packagers should obsolete the package as well).
