panel crash segmentation fault

Package: gnome-core Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: panel crash segmentation fault Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: panel Description: during boot process of gui I get the dialog box Application "panel" (process 1146) has crashed due to fatal error (Segmentation fault). When this happens I cannot move windows and most of the gui elements are missing. I don't know how to tell you about how to reproduce it. I have not been able to do aything yet. The trace is irrelevant to gnome 2.0. The 'gwmh' functions have bee replaced by libwnck see:
