Description dixie33755 2011-12-03 05:21:04 UTC
I have a Bamboo Fun Wacom tablet, which has been working just perfectly for me for the last few years. All of the sudden now, when I try drawing in GIMP, these odd lines jump out of my pen point. It looks almost exactly like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDhuC1fk1NI
It happens almost constantly, making it impossible to draw with my tablet.

I have tried unplugging my tablet.
I have tried plugging it into the USB outlet in the back.
I have tried unplugging other USB devices.
I have restarted GIMP and my computer.

I tried plugging the tablet into my netbook (which is running Fedora, while my main computer is on Kubuntu), and playing with GIMP there, and voila! No problem. So it isn't my tablet or the connector cable.

I do not have this problem drawing with my mouse, either.

Please help!

Are these exactly the same GIMP versions?
