Description corec 2011-12-01 17:42:40 UTC
I use mixed language environment with following settings:
Language: English
Formats: Finland

This causes time (and date format if enabled with gnome-tweak-tool) to be an odd mix of both locales instead of as shown in the examples in "Formats" tab of "Region and Language" settings.

The right format should be following:
only time: 19.33
date and time: to 1 joulu, 19.33

Instead the format is following:
only time: 19:33
date and time: to joulu 1, 19:33

Just for helpers:
to = thu
joulu = dec

Also there should be a possibility to use the long equivalent of "Thursday 1 December 2011" as in Finland the short month style is used only very rarely. If this is not going to happen, is there gnome 2 style setting available somewhere where you could set your own custom time and date format?
