Description Kamil Páral 2011-11-28 15:08:55 UTC
I set brightness to 100% on my laptop. I have the option "Dim screen to save power" activated. I close the lid and wait 15 seconds. After I reopen the lid and unlock the screen, the brightness is set to 0%.

If I deactivate "Dim screen to save power" and follow the same procedure, then the screen is correctly restored to 100% brightness after lid re-opening.

Fedora 16

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
