GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 664245
Desktop shortcuts "Computer" , "Trash" etc don't show name in zh_CN
Last modified: 2015-01-19 09:24:38 UTC
When let nautilus show Desktop shotcut, such as "Computer" , "Trash", its name is in English but l10n name.
1) How exactly let you show Nautilus the Desktop shortcut? 2) Which Operating system is this about? 3) Which language did you expect?
these strings should be translatable an show the transalted localization string as other strings in ui.
This did not answer any of my questions in comment 1.
1. I set it in gsetting. 2. I am using Debian Sid and Ubuntu. 3. In zh_CN, I wish it show "计算机" instead of "Computer" “回收站” instead of "Trash".
(In reply to comment #4) > 1. I set it in gsetting. How? Please provide exact steps. > 2. I am using Debian Sid and Ubuntu. Which Ubuntu version is that exactly? It changes every six months, so "Ubuntu" is very vague. > 3. In zh_CN, I wish it show "计算机" instead of "Computer" > “回收站” instead of "Trash".
1. you can also set it in in gnome-tweak-tool 2. Ubuntu 11.10
