Description Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2011-11-12 23:46:58 UTC
Pick a new Rhythmbox install, open the plugins dialog, and click the magnatune checkbox. It will crash and print this:

/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gobject/constants.py:24: Warning: g_boxed_type_register_static: assertion `g_type_from_name (name) == 0' failed
  import gobject._gobject
TypeError: metaclass conflict: the metaclass of a derived class must be a (non-strict) subclass of the metaclasses of all its bases
**
ERROR:pygobject.c:929:pygobject_new_full: assertion failed: (tp != NULL)
Aborted

I'm using RB rhythmbox 2.90.1.git20110928-1 (arch linux), and pygobject 3.0.2 built agains python 2.7.2.
