group columns C:F.
Note that there is a tick above each of columns C,D,E, and F
group columns D:E
We still have ticks above columns C,D,and E (with  the ticks above D and E moved down one layer as expected).

What happened to the tick above F?

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
