Grid cell 9px wide when set to 8px width

When I configure an image grid to be of certain width and heighth, I expect it to be so... Not any random number somewhere around the specified values.

Seems so. Was unable to find it. And surprized it's THAT old.
Surprized it's even exist... Since "GIMP using pixels internally".
