GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 662887
merging multiple items into one audiobook
Last modified: 2020-03-17 09:25:04 UTC
Typically when you buy audiobooks on CDs they come as either a number of CDs divided into 5mins tracks, or as a set of mp3 files divided into 1 hour sections. Neither is really useful in the context of Banshee as we have bookmarks to serve the purposes presumably intended by the methods used on the CD media. It would thus be useful to have an extension that allows me to merge a set of files into one file to represent a single book. e.g. 7 discs worth of tracks named Track 01 to 14 is really unhelpful compared to one track named "Republic lost by Lawrence Lessig"
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
