Description Amanda Cameron 2011-10-27 00:46:56 UTC
I've been getting an unusually high number of notifications due to a program of mine glitching, so I noticed this rather annoyingly: When there's a notification shown, the app that you are currently typiong in looses keyboard focus and the key strokes appear to get lost in the mix, as nothing is showing anything being done for them.

It appears that the effect is transiant, I tried clicking on the item in the tray then again. it stopped the keyboard-stealing, though I havn't the faintest how.

I thought notifications would only steal focus when the pointer is where the notification appears. Isn't that the case? That would be the same issue as the one described on bug 661358.
