Description jonathan.w.lane 2011-10-24 02:05:35 UTC
Why aren't there another two options next to suspend labeled "restart" and "shut down"? What possible advantage could there be in making the user log out (when forcing all users to log out is part of the normal shutdown process) or hold Alt (completely and utterly non-discoverable) to shut down? If I wanted to use the keyboard to shut down and/or log out first, I'd be using Window Maker or any of the other desktops that were state of the art in 1998. I don't understand - it should be fairly trivial to implement, it would help with user-friendliness, and the entire community wants it. Why has this not been done yet? Please keep in mind that if this gets labeled NOTABUG or WONTFIX, I will keep filing bugs until it gets fixed or my hands fall off, whichever comes first.
