GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 662524
POP3: Use a safer default value for "delete-after-days"
Last modified: 2011-10-25 15:14:16 UTC
I noticed this one downstream affecting multiple users on 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 and results in permanent loss of data. I have no POP3 accounts to test with. From downstream: The option under "receiving options - message storage" was changed to: delete after 7 days. I LOST thousands of email. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/877534
The upgrade would be from 2.32 (stable Ubuntu 11.04)
Fixed for 3.3.2 and 3.2.2 in: http://git.gnome.org/browse/evolution-data-server/commit/?id=40726b6f38166f16cc5a662b963334a49ca1e510 http://git.gnome.org/browse/evolution-data-server/commit/?h=gnome-3-2&id=74b73302f3078a4e4e75ca98f5b73e96b01713a7
