Description zakunin 2011-10-17 19:32:15 UTC
This is my first bug report so, sorry for errors (and for my english).

I am using ubuntu 10.10 and evolution 2.30.3: the problem is that every operation I do with it, even just open a mail, the ram usage increases causing the crash of the program that simply shut down. Here are the results of "top" taken in different times:

Thank you

Thanks for the bug report, but memory leak bugs aren't very useful for old versions we no longer support. Can you try reproducing this with Evolution 3.2 please?

Thank you for the fast answer!
in these days I will try to reproduce the memory leak with evolution 3.2.
In the meantime I've found a similar problem in launchpad site: I don't know what version is on board in 11.04 but the problem, using heavely evolution, seems to be common. Here the link: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/822479

Ubuntu 11.04 might have Evolution 2.32 which is also an old version and not supported in upstream.

Closing this bug report as no further information for a recent Evolution version has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if this is still a problem in version 3.2 or 3.0. Thanks!
