Description Michael Biebl 2011-10-16 18:29:09 UTC
I tried building the gtk-doc API documentation with gtk-doc-tools 1.18

During the build I get a lot of error messages about missing references and files, like
warning: failed to load external entity "../xml/gnome-rr-screen.xml"
../gnome-desktop3-docs.sgml:25: element include: XInclude error : could not load ../xml/gnome-rr-screen.xml, and no fallback was found
warning: failed to load external entity "../xml/gnome-rr-output.xml"
../gnome-desktop3-docs.sgml:26: element include: XInclude error : could not load ../xml/gnome-rr-output.xml, and no fallback was found

A complete log is attached.

While checking the resulting output, quite a few files were missing in /usr/share/gtk-doc, like gnome-desktop3-gnome-rr-crtc.html
I tar'ed up the /usr/share/gtk-doc directory.

Generally speaking, gnome-desktop has nearly no api doc, which is a shame :/
