GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 661586
[screen] Remember brightness level across reboots
Last modified: 2012-01-23 19:08:40 UTC
Created attachment 198879 [details] Screenshot of the Screen Settings dialog Originally filed at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/870805 If I set some Brightness value lower than 100%, on the next logon it is reset again to 100%. I think it mostly applies to laptops. I personally have an iMac, and its brightness can only be adjusted by software. I attach the screenshot of the Screen Settings dialog. The Brightness slider is focused.
