Description jacekpodkanski 2011-10-11 11:27:08 UTC
In 2.32.1 after you solve a puzzle you are bombarded with flashing colours which can trigger a seizure in some people. The problem is it takes a while before you can get rid of the flashing. first you have to click on the OK button and then you need to close the window. Also I can't find any way to switch it off in the preferences. This silly thing can cause some people to end up in hospital.

If you want to keep flashing colour, at least make it possible to switch it off in the preferences.

It is also very annoying, so even many not prone to epileptic seizures would appreciate an option to turn off the flashing.

Including myself

Let's just completely remove the flashing colors: they're kind of cool, but also kind of 2004. Mario, are you comfortable working on a bug in our Python game? If not, please reassign this to me.

This is our highest priority task for 3.12. It'd be good to have this solved within the next two weeks to avoid UI freeze, but I'm sure we can get a freeze exception for this if not.

Surgeon-like I swooped in and removed one line which should make the whole ordeal much more bearable.

This is fixed in master now. :)

Thank you for your bug report.
