Description Rob Johnson 2011-10-10 20:11:05 UTC
It would be very useful if it were possible to export an object by name to a pdf file, e.g.
  ssconvert -O object=MyGraph data.gnumeric MyGraph.pdf
Graphs in gnumeric files can have names, accessible in the "Size & Position" item in the object's context menu. One issue is that multiple graphs can have the same name, but then that's the user's problem. :)

Along the same lines, it would also be useful to have the output PDF custom fit to the graph, perhaps with another pdf option paper=fit. Suppressing page numbers would also be useful, e.g. numbers=off.

Thanks for considering these feature requests. Gnumeric is a great tool!

Note that in the current development branch you can already print specific objects to pdf, just not via ssconvert.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
