GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 661371
Annotation icons on landscape .pdf files misplaced
Last modified: 2016-09-30 13:03:32 UTC
Created attachment 198709 [details] Image illustrating the problem Hello. Today I was trying to make some annotations on one pdf file, and I realized that when the pdf file (or the page where I try to annotate something) is in landscape position, where I click to create the annotation, is not where the icon of the annotation appears. I guess that this is because of the landscape position: If I try to create an annotation on the left margin of a landscape page, the annotation icon appears in the top margin, exactly where It should have appeared if the page were in portrait position. Attached an image showing the issue. Using gnome 3.2 on Archlinux x86_64
I would like to confirm this on Evince 3.1.2 & 3.2.1. The bigest problem is that you can not click the annotation icon. One more ref: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/887613
I have reported this in bug #168304 comment 56 and upstreamed it to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29592 Could someone attach a file showing the problem?
No more info and the bug is in Poppler. So I am closing this one as NOTGNOME.
