Description Laurent Pointecouteau 2011-10-09 20:47:30 UTC
When Rhythmbox fails to find the cover art for the playing track, it allows you to drag'n'drop a file or a selected picture (from a Firefox window for instance) over the empty frame, as the tooltip says.
This doesn't work with Rhythmbox 2.90.1 - it used to work some months ago, but I can't tell which version was functioning.
I'm currently using rhythmbox 2.90.1.git20110928-1 from Arch Linux "extra" repositories

Steps to reproduce:
*Be sure to active the album-art plugin ;
*Play a track without (or with wrong) album art in Rhythmbox ;
*Drag and drop a picture file or any picture from a webpage into the album frame, at the bottom left of the window

Yes, this is broken. Last time I looked some changes were required in pygobject or gobject-introspection for drag and drop to work.

This was fixed recently (after 2.96)
