The new systray implementation in Gnome 3.2, appears when you bring mouse closer to bottom-right corner of the desktop, since many applications has their buttons on the bottom-right corner (overall important buttons like "Close", "Apply", "Save", etc..), this makes some difficult for the user to click on those buttons, because the systray appears by accident and supersedes the application buttons.
Please take a look to the screen-shot I am attaching, which reflects a situation like the described.
