GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 661149
Sending Email dialog broken when you pick no Receiving Email server
Last modified: 2012-01-02 18:28:14 UTC
Just did a re-install of F16 on my laptop, re-configuring Evolution, I found I had a bit of trouble creating an account with no incoming server type. This kind of account is commonly used to set up an outgoing identity when you want to be able to send email from a given account without having an incoming server associated with that account. If I set the incoming server type to 'None', then at the next step - outgoing server - the Server Type box is present and set to SMTP, but the rest of the dialog is empty and the 'Continue' button is greyed out. To get all the appropriate chrome to show up I have to change Server Type to Sendmail and then back to SMTP. Easy to workaround, but a bit worrying at first!
Thanks fro a bug report. This particular one got fixed within bug #662789, thus I'm marking this as a duplicate of it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 662789 ***
