Once libgee 0.7.x/0.8.x is at the point that supporting both 0.8.x and 0.6.x will be a simple #ifdef and trivial replacement of some functions (as described in bug #660937 comment #2), we should support both.

After libgee 0.8.0 has been available for a while, we can drop support for libgee 0.6.x.
