>Synopsis: ces after RH7.2 upgrade
>Class: sw-bug
System: Compaq Pres 866; P1@75MHz; RH7.2 upgrade from RH7.1

>Description:
I am new to Gnome so I am not sure exactly what is happening...

I had Gnome and RH7.1 running fine. I upgraded to RH7.2 and now, everytime I start Gnome (startx) when it starts, some basic window (or manager?) crashes and the only way I can figure to stop the machine is to power it down. I do get an error message when the panel goes down that gave me a link to click and here I am.

It seems like all the rest of the Gnome/X environment works fine with the exception of the window/panel that goes away at start.

>How-To-Repeat:
Nothing other than starting Gnome with 'startx'.
