Description Cosimo Cecchi 2011-09-28 16:24:06 UTC
As per [1], I am splitting the gnome-utils module into a set of separate repositories, one for each subproject.
I would also like separate bugzilla products for each module, which is what I am requesting with this bug.

Name of the product: baobab
A brief description: A graphical directory tree analyzer
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/baobab should
be used
default CC: pborelli@katamail.com, thesaltydog@gmail.com

Name of the product: gnome-dictionary
A brief description: Look up words in dictionary sources
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-dictionary should
be used
default CC: ebassi@gmail.com

Name of the product: gnome-font-viewer
A brief description: A font viewer utility for GNOME
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-font-viewer should
be used
default CC: cosimoc@gnome.org

Name of the product: gnome-screenshot
A brief description: Take pictures of your screen
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-screenshot should
be used
default CC: cosimoc@gnome.org, ebassi@gmail.com

Name of the product: gnome-search-tool
A brief description: Utility to search for files
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-search-tool should
be used
default CC: dennis_cranston@yahoo.com

Name of the product: gnome-system-log
A brief description: View your system logs
URL to homepage: none yet...http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-system-log should
be used
default CC: cosimoc@gnome.org

Thanks a lot! When this is done, and the new repositories are up, I will proceed moving the open bugs from the gnome-utils product to these, and then we can close the old product for new bugs.

Products have been created.

Cosimo, I've set you as the maintainer of all products.
Please hand off previlidges to the appropriate maintainers.
You (and any other developer of the product) can maintain the product here

 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=baobab
 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=gnome-dictionary
 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=gnome-font-viewer
 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=gnome-screenshot
 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=gnome-search-tool
 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=gnome-system

Adjust it to your liking. You need to add at least one component (e.g.
'general') before new bugs can be filed. For any new component use

 baobab-maint@gnome.bugs
 gnome-dictionary-maint@gnome.bugs
 gnome-font-viewer-maint@gnome.bugs
 gnome-screenshot-maint@gnome.bugs
 gnome-search-tool-maint@gnome.bugs
 gnome-system-log-maint@gnome.bugs

as QA and default assignee.
Important: Anyone interested in following all bug activity
(including all maintainers) must watch above dummy user by adding
it to the 'users to watch' list under Preferences->Email preferences.

Note: This very likely also requires a notification to gnome-i18n@ to update l10n.gnome.org accordingly.

I have closed the Bugzilla product "gnome-utils" for entry of new reports now, and moved it to the "Deprecated" classification.
