GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 660285
No way to prevent v4l2src from using emulated formats from libv4l
Last modified: 2012-01-15 16:47:54 UTC
Created attachment 197600 [details] [review] proposed patch libv4l provides a very simple jpeg decompressor and colorspace convertors. In a lot of cases it's better ot use the elements inside gstreamer to do the job instead. Added a property to disable the emulated formats from showing up in the caps in the attached patch
Not that I'm against such an option, but I wonder why it's needed at all. v4l2src *should* negotiate non-emulated first, if supported at all, including jpeg (I think).
Comment on attachment 197600 [details] [review] proposed patch I guess the bug and the patch is rejected then. If not, please redo the appropriate status.
