Description Stef Walter 2011-09-25 05:45:47 UTC
Previously in the gdm selector I was able to press <enter> to select the last used login and then type my password. This no longer works, I have to grab my mouse and click on the user name.

Using gdm version: 3.1.92 (on Fedora FC16 rawhide)

Since login is an oft repeated process, and most logins are the same user over and over again, logging in as the last logged in user should be a quick task. Since a login often takes place with a password, the entire login process should be easily keyboard accessible since the user's fingers are already on the keyboard.

Do you need any further info?

I agree, the first user should be preselected, at least when there's only one user on the system.
I use Gdm 3.1.92 on Arch atm and I have to use the arrow-keys to select the user before I can press enter to input the PW, which is more complicated than it was before.

(I also can't press enter after I input the password, I have to use the mouse there, too, because gdm will freeze otherwise but this seems to be another bug.)
