overall, it looks good - though I copied the translator comment from gtk+ along with the check, so maybe the same patch should be applied there as well. I know that every once in a while translators still get that wrong on gtk+ as well.

feel free to commit it to master, and cherry-pick it on the clutter-1.8 branch.
