Can not choose user in authentication dialogue to get root privileges. Another (not current) user with administration rights is chosen by default.

Yes, this (user selection) wasn't addressed in the designs:
https://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell/Design/Whiteboards/AuthorizationDialog
so it was never implemented.

We need a design that covers this.
