Description Anders Feder 2011-09-16 10:12:12 UTC
NetworkManager fails to connect to my 3G provider at login, even though it is configured for automatic connection.

If you can help me debug this issue, I am willing to write a patch to fix it (if it is not too complicated).

Comment 2 Dan Williams 2011-10-21 06:17:48 UTC
0.9.0 removed the autoconnect option for 3G if the modem wasn't already enabled, but we're investigating how to bring that back.

Why was this behaviour modified and what are the plans for bringing it back?
Comment 4 Marius Kotsbak 2012-06-23 13:13:39 UTC
There are a lot of downstream Ubuntu bugs about this:

The following patch:

and maybe

http://osdir.com/ml/networkmanager-list/2012-07/msg00102.html

claims to solve this problem.
