Description sibon 2001-12-01 15:35:03 UTC
Package: panel
Version: 1.4.0.4
Severity:

>Synopsis: panel crashes, probably related to sawfish
>Class: sw-bug
System: RH 7.2 with all patches applied

>Description:
after installing the GDB update to 5.1.1, everything still worked fine. Had to move the PC so did a shutdown. After that, I got the problem that the panel crashes (for all users). Some background-info: I have had major troubles with Gnome and Sawfish where Gnome wouldn't recognise Sawfish as a Gnome-compliant window-manager. Updated sawfish to the latest version (1.0.1). To do this, I had to do some other updates too (librep). Since this, Sawfish worked but the configuration-tool for sawfish didn't.
