Description Xavier Claessens 2011-09-13 08:03:52 UTC
I can't find anymore the list of remembered wifi networks. This is a serious because it means that if I try to connect a network by error then NM will always try to connect that one.

For example I had a case of infinite loop of trying to connect 2 wifi networks.

1) my home network was down.
2) at some point in the past, I've clicked on 2 other networks that can't connect (probably their owner filters on MAC address).
3) when a network is "connecting" gnome-shell's menu does not display the switch to disable the wifi.

=> NM did try to connect both networks in loop because both fails to connect. And I had no way to stop it (except the HW switch on the laptop).

FWIW, NetworkManager trying to connect to networks that it never succeeded connecting to is not a gnome-control-center bug either.
