I try to apply effects to a photo or a video but it doesnt works. It just does not show the effect but the normal photo.

We recently had a problem with effects in cheese which will happen if you have cheese version 3.0.1 or older. This bug has been reported and fixed.

Please check if this is your problem. If this is not the problem you're having, please reopen the bug with the information requested.
