Description 100domicil 2011-09-08 13:33:45 UTC
sometimes I change my fedora OS. My music folder stays the same between the two OS versions.
Each time rb starts with a new library. I lose all the ratings/play count that were created on the previous OS.
It would be nice to have an option to export/import those informations.

I believe that Banshee has an option (on by default) that lets you write ratings/play counts to files. I think that is the obvious way to deal with this bug.

I realise that some think only objective metadata belongs in files, but to me the practical benefits outweigh the theoretical.
