Description Marcus Beyer 2011-09-07 20:47:33 UTC
With version 2.1.3 Banshee does not respect the custom set podcast folder when downloading and archiving podcast episodes. Instead, it creates a Podcast folder in $HOME as is the default and uses that folder to store podcasts.

Thank you for your bug report.

It seems that you need to re-start Banshee for the new location to be used, which is indeed a bug.

In your case is the new location used after re-starting Banshee ?
Comment 2 Marcus Beyer 2011-09-11 10:00:46 UTC
Yes, restarting the application seems to do the trick.
Comment 3 Bertrand Lorentz 2011-09-11 12:50:58 UTC
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.

I've committed a fix to make sure any change to the podcast folder location is taken into account immediately.
