I don't think this qualifies as blocking 3.4. Bumping the GNOME Target.

I have made a branch [1] that needs to be reviewed to get rid of the unique dependency. I'm waiting for feedbacks on this branch.

Things in GTK keep changing, and it's breaking our library. Hopefully we'll figure it out in the next few weeks, but I can't evaluate new patches until the unit test suite is passing again.
