Description André Klapper 2011-08-30 18:38:16 UTC
#: ../src/goabackend/goagoogleprovider.c#n426 :
  goa_util_add_heading (table, _("Use this account for"));
  goa_util_add_row_switch_from_keyfile (table, object, _("Mail"), "MailEnabled");
  goa_util_add_row_switch_from_keyfile (table, object, _("Calendar"), "CalendarEnabled");
  goa_util_add_row_switch_from_keyfile (table, object, _("Contacts"), "ContactsEnabled");
  goa_util_add_row_switch_from_keyfile (table, object, _("Chat"), "ChatEnabled");
  goa_util_add_row_switch_from_keyfile (table, object, _("Documents"), "DocumentsEnabled");
See https://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/DevGuidelines/Never%20split%20sentences .

#: ../src/goabackend/goaoauth2provider.c:651
"Paste authorization code obtained from the <a href=\"%s\">authorization "
"page</a>:"
#: ../src/goabackend/goaoauthprovider.c:672
"Paste token obtained from the <a href=\"%s\">authorization page</a>:"
I don't understand this. Is the "paste" a request for a user action? Translator comment very welcome: https://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/DevGuidelines/Use%20comments

#: ../src/goabackend/goaoauth2provider.c:1211
"Credentials does not contain access_token"
#: ../src/goabackend/goaoauthprovider.c:1272
"Credentials does not contain access_token or access_token_secret"
Isn't credentials plural vs "does"?

#: ../src/goabackend/goaoauthprovider.c:642
"Expected 200 for getting a Request Token, got %d (%s)"
#: ../src/goabackend/goayahooprovider.c:221
"Expected status 200 when requesting name, instead got status %d (%s)"

Is 200 an error code or something? Worth to mention in a translator comment.
Also one sentence has "instead", the other hasn't.

#: ../src/goabackend/goaprovider.c:522
"ensure_credentials_sync not been implemented on type %s"
*has* not been?

#: ../src/goabackend/goaprovider.c:736
#, c-format
msgid "GOA %s credentials for identity %s"
What is the first %s? Please add a translator comment.

I don't see how this applies as there are no split sentences here. It looks like this

I've changed it to "do not".

> #: ../src/goabackend/goaoauthprovider.c:642
> "Expected 200 for getting a Request Token, got %d (%s)"

I've added this comment

 /* Translators: the %d is a HTTP status code and the %s is a textual description of it */

> Also one sentence has "instead", the other hasn't.

They are more similar now.

Changed it to "ensure_credentials_sync is not implemented on type %s"

> #: ../src/goabackend/goaprovider.c:736
> #, c-format
> msgid "GOA %s credentials for identity %s"
> What is the first %s? Please add a translator comment.

Added

 /* Translators: The %s is the type of the provider, e.g. 'google' or 'yahoo' */

Thanks for the review!

Ah, I see. I hope this will be okay and that not too many languages use a form for the Accusative that is different from the Nominative.
