Description Paul Menzel 2011-08-29 12:50:48 UTC
The POP3 account is configured to leave the messages on the server and *not* to delete them. Since the upgrade to Evolution 3.0.2 from 2.32.3 the messages are retrieved all over again on each start of Evolution.

I read the entry in the documentation [1]. The first item and third items do not match my setup (just one copy of each message is on the server and the cache files are writable). I guess the second item is also invalid since it used to work before the update.

Please tell me what information you need to fix this issue.

Does this still happen in 3.0.3? Wondering if it's related to bug 648468.

Upgrading to 3.0.3 fixes this issue. So it is probably a duplicate of 648468 and I am tagging this report as such.
