Description José María Casanova Crespo 2011-08-24 22:28:00 UTC
I would like to update the guadec-list administration permissions in order to include my email address jmcasanova@igalia.com in the guadec-list mailing list.

We are going to start using the list to organize next edition of GUADEC in Coruña and i'm the responsible of the local team.

This list will be the main channel of communication for the organization of the event.

It would be nice to reset the password of the list and sent it using GPG. 1024D/039ACDF0

pending confirmation from existing list administrator..

This request seems odd -- guadec-list has always been a public list for the community, i.e. interested conference attendees.

Local organization team planning has been done on the guadec-local list. See http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/.

Isn't this request confusing the two lists?

The list will continue to be open to public, the objective is dealing with the management and moderation of not members of the list.

I didn't know about that list existed, so i would like to extend the request to guadec-local if possible.

You could use the help of the Moderator Team for that if you'd like. http://live.gnome.org/ModeratorTeam
