Description André Klapper 2011-08-24 12:02:27 UTC
"General" and "Display" both have options that are more or less similar.

General > Time (AM/PM; Time zones)
Display > Date/Time Format
Display > General (e.g. "Time divisions" etc)
General > Work Week
General > Alerts
Display > Task List

This might need input from designers / usability team, targetting 3.3.

A lot of those features are duplicates for what's already in the Date & Time settings in the control center.

Note to myself: help/C/calendar-layout-appointment-display.page (and probably other help pages) need an update once this is fixed.

While that's true, we still offer an option for users to override system settings and use (temporarily) different timezone or other settings different than the system settings.

I'll switch the options as suggested in comment #3.
Comment 7 Milan Crha 2014-11-12 10:15:37 UTC
The change in Calendar and Tasks looks like:

   [ General ]

     Time
     Work Week
     Date/Time Format

   [ Display ]

     View Options
     Alerts

As you can see, I renamed 'Display->General' section.
